I had the pleasure of working with Shandra on the FRAC rehabilitation project…If she didn’t know the answer to a question or issue, she was diligent about finding it and communicating it to me. She was always accessible and easy to communicate with. Once construction started her staff took over the day to day responsibilities on the job. They too were courteous, professional and diligent about tracking down issues.

GCAP has worked with Ms. Spicer, providing Labor Compliance support services for the Paloma and JWCH San Julian Oasis projects…enthusiasm and dedication were immediately apparent to GCAP during the initial project meeting. Ms. Spicer’s communication skills effectively demonstrate her expertise and passion for her job, and helped to educate us on the mission and objectives of the client.

Typically, agency/company staff are unresponsive, often unhelpful and nearly always my invoices languish for weeks, months and occasionally years. Such is not the case with Shandra. She is wonderfully responsive. Typically, she responds to my e-mails within minutes! She is always knowledgeable and helpful. I always feel heard and that she more than understands the importance of timely resolution of contracting issues and invoice processing. She resolves contract questions quickly and painlessly with a few back and forth e-mails.

This letter is to serve in support of Shandra Spicer. She is prompt, very responsive, responsible professional, and a pleasure to do business with. Prior to working with Shandra in CllP, I had been waiting for over a year to close out my loan, but Shandra was able to close it out within 60 days.I was amazed and pleased with her efforts and diligence. Shandra is an outstanding and clear communicator. She is always there to help and answer any questions.

On the Southern California Change Team Shandra has demonstrated leadership skills, a vast knowledge and wide interest in a range of areas. Shandra is an excellent communicator and is always showing professionalism. Shandra has demonstrated multiple times her resourcefulness and I admire her initiative to talk about difficult topics.

I have had the pleasure of working with Shandra Spicer to advance our collaboration project, a 6-unit new construction project on Flower Street…At the in-person meeting with ~8 individuals, Shandra provided a detailed agenda, and very efficiently led the group through each item. Most memorably, she stopped along the way multiple times to patiently and thoroughly answer all my questions. The project was a bit unconventional in nature, and she worked with me to find a path forward on administrative processes that required a customized approach.

During this past year I have worked as a Project Manager for Volunteers of America of Los Angeles (VOALA)...Shandra was my main contact person for this funding source/project…Shandra was always extremely pleasant, collaborative, detailed oriented, knowledgeable of Construction/Fiscal Budgets, and quick on responding to questions.This has been a great learning experience for me working with Shandra and he staff on such a needed project to help Homeless Adults.

In the last year of working with Shandra, I have found her depth and breadth of knowledge of real-estate development, construction, and project management to be invaluable in our collaborations. We have worked on a number of aspects of the program, including significant program changes, and found her an enthusiastic thought partner, eager to move forward to achieve programmatic goals. In our jointly encountered challenges, Shandra has highlighted opportunities, and a desire, to improve her ability to collaborate and communicate with internal and external partners in an effort to develop a team better prepared to take on this unique body of work.

I am writing to give my highest recommendation for Shandra Spicer as a business colleague whom I have had the pleasure of working with over the past year and a half on the Paloma Project…Shandra is passionate about her job, which evidenced by her willingness to have discussions about the project at any hour of the day to make sure that deadlines are being met. She is a true leader who speaks her mind and always encourages others to do the same. I particularly admire her attention to detail and her can-do attitude. She is pragmatic and her decision making is always driven by facts and data. I confidently can say that Shandra is an invaluable asset to our project and that we are grateful for the opportunity to work with her.

I took over the Pomona Year round emergency Shelter Project in May of 2019 and from that point on, Shandra had demonstrated utmost professionalism and integrity…She committed her tim to assist her clients and guide them through a process that sometimes could be intimidating. In her capacity, Shandra provided a high level of customer service, while treating her clients with courtesy and respect. During the year I worked with Shandra, She made my job so much easier.

I am very pleased to write this letter in support of Shandra Spicer. I have had the pleasure to work closely with Shandra. Shandra’s leadership, charisma, knowledge of the project construction field and quick adaptability and flexibility, allowed her to make great noticeable differences. She created processes, procedures, documents and revamped an almost non-existent structure for the better. Shandra not only succeeded in building out the CII Program, but in the process quickly advanced the CII Program, while also providing support to all levels of staff. She as a leader made sure we all had that we needed to succeed in our roles, provided direction, took the time to explain unfamiliar and difficult subjects; and whenever there were questions, I knew Shandra was there to answer them.
